Data Recovery
Well I had to send my hard drive out. Hopefully they can get the data off for a reasonable price. The guy quoted me $250 - $750, depending on the problem. That was with a student discount. I'm not sure if it includes the discount for being a Western Digital customer that they are supposed to offer. I sent it to CBL Data Recovery Technologies Inc. Their price actually sound pretty reasonable considering it's data recovery. I sent them my hard drive for free through UPS. They'll look it over for free, whether I decide to go with them or not. Then they'll send it back to me for free. They also only charge me if they succeed in getting the data off. Sounds reasonable.
On a good note. I contacted Scrapartist, Christina Renee Designs, The Lilypad, and Funky Playground Designs. All except Scrapartist so far, have reset my download links for my orders with them. So I gained back a lot of the digital scrapbooking items I lost. I'm glad, because I would be lost without those items. Those are my favorite stores, especially Christina's. She was so great about the whole thing.
